My 89 year old mother is in the hospital in Riverside, California. Things don't look too good for her. If you would be so kind, please say a little prayer for her peace and freedom from any suffering she may be experiencing. Her name is Jeanne; her favorite bird is the roadrunner.
If you wouldn't mind, perhaps include a little prayer for the firefighters and Santa Barbara and it's residents.

Sprinklers on the roof seem to be one of the best ways to save a home during a wildfire. I assume this fellow is watching the approaching blaze. Most of the evacuations have been lifted, major victories were won by the many people battling the Jesusita fire, dispatching, comforting, rescuing, and otherwise helping others in the past week. But it's not over quite yet. Those hot, dry sundowner winds could be back tonight, which would stir up the smoldering embers over the 8,700 acres which have burned. Some of the places which have been affected are the SB Botanical Gardens and Stevens' Park, below.
Thank you for your prayers and best wishes. I return the same to you.

I am sorry to hear about your mother. With all the stress from the fire, I am sure your mother's illness is only adding more stress than you can bear. I am sending some positive vibes your way.
Thank you so much.
Blessings,

Thank you. I really appreciate your concern. It has been a tough year. My aunt pass on in December. Then my sis-in-law, ex-s sister, unexpectedly died in March of a stroke. Now my mom. And that fire. Sigh. I'm hanging in there.
I hope you're doing well.
Blessings,
Lulublue
